Bangladesh team lost in the last ODI
Bangladesh cricket team again lost in the final ODI held in Dunedin, New Zeland although Sabbir Rahman made a successful ton. He tried his best in his lone hand but failed to secure whitewash.
Middle order batsmans have again failed to fire. None of the batman has scored even a fifty whereas three batsman of Kuiwi touched 50s.
Although the Dunedin University playground is told to be the highest run scoring ground of the country but Bangladeshi Batsman failed to make change in this format.
The opening duo were scalped totally by the fast-bowler Southee in the very first over. Later Musfiq, rib-injured, tried to make partnership with Mahmudulla while Sakid failed completely. Five wickets fell in 61 run. Then Sabbir Rahman took helm to lead the team to win but intimately stopped in 242 runs.
Sabbir did an excellent job as he failed to secure any fifty in last 16 ODIs but this time he really showed his valour. In tge 2nnd ODI, he scored 43 and gained confidence tgat he applied in the last game of the format.
Anyway, the captain is upbeat that the team will make some difference in the test format. The test team will be led by Sakib Al Hasan while Tamim will act as Vice-Captain.
