Significance of Spoken English

 

We actually do not know what the purpose of a language is. The purpose of any language should be to communicate with others. That means communication is the main purpose of a language. There are many form of communication in reality. But speaking is the good way to communicate with other and the best way to learn any language.

If one wants to learn any languge, he/she must focus on speaking the language. For example, if you want to learn English language effectivelly, you must try to speak first. For instance, a baby of a native English spoken couple can easily speak in English and gradually it becomes able to understand the language.

Practice of speaking is important here.

In Bengladesh, English books are designed to
learn the rules and terms of English but these books fail to teach students about the significance of speaking in English language. For this reason, students having honors degree or even a university degree cannot speak in English properly.  This is possible when speaking is encouraged.

Students of English medium school can speak in English at an early age because speaking is highly encouraged here.

Emphasis on speaking must be given in order to increase the speaking ability and become English Speaker. One can start from the beginning.
